Moving

It's official! We are moving to Boston in May 2010 :)
For all those who haven't caught wind of this, I'll explain: Mando was offered a transfer to the "Boston office" (which currently only houses one employee) to be in an experimental technical position. They need someone who is an excellent problem solver and good with people because he will be interacting with all of their major clients. The CEO said that Armando was the first person he thought of---and then he later asked Mando to "talk to him personally" if the compensation negotiotiations weren't going the way that Armando wanted. :) What a robo-foso. Anyway, basically Armando will be going to all of the customers as a "tech-support" guy for their products. Apparently the company sees a huge number of returns that don't seem to have any problem. Mando's job is to catch all these problems when they're occurring (in the client's machines) and hopefully fix the issue before they return the product. He will be literally saving the company millions in returned product. He'll also continue work on some of the projects he's over right now. Since it's an experimental position, it's a "temporary move." That means we'll be keeping our house here in Provo and just renting it out. The contract is for two years, and then we'll see from there. In fact, they might do a review of the contract after just one year, but they've leased us an apartment for two years so..... who knows :)
The company is paying for our housing (sweet) and utilities, so this is where they've leased an apartment: Village at Taylor Pond. We'll be in the largest two bedroom/two bath that they have :) I'm pretty stoked. All in all, this is a really exciting opportunity.
We're a bit out of the city (which Mando is excited about), but close enough to have fairly easy access. I'm most excited to be living near my sister, Jenn! :) And since our complex has a swimming pool and movie theater room, maybe we can entice her family to come play at our house in the summer! Oh, and when Nicholas gets a bit older we're going to have so much fun going to the aquarium and the children's museum.....OH! And all of the fresh produce and seafood!! (Really, I'm not a big seafood fan, but I plan on becoming one...especially clam chowder).
I can't stop smiling, I'm so excited!
